Award Winning

All of our instructors have been awarded Aikido Black Belt certification by our chief instructor, Greg O'Connor and Aikido World Headquarters in Japan. And that's not easy to obtain. It can take many years just to reach black belt, let alone earn the increasingly challenging upper black belt ranks.
The good news is—we're an
"Ivy League" Aikido institution—and we can help you get there, too.

Expert Trainers

All of our Certified Black Belt Instructors are here for YOU!
They know what it's like to be a beginner because they were a beginner once also.
They know the challenges that may come up occasionally and can mentor you through them.
They know what it's like to keep going because they keep going.
They know the value of simple, regular Aikido training because they know the value it adds to their life.

About Aikido

Aikido, the full power of which is rarely seen,  is graceful, dynamic and beautiful to watch and even more exhilerating and rewarding to perform.
By blending with any attack it can dissipate it with the gentleness of a summer breeze, redirect it safely away or end it with devastating speed, decisiveness and efficiency.
Aikido techniques are fun to learn and can be practiced and learned by anyone of and at any age and at their own pace and comfort level.
Security and law enforcement professionals also appreciate Aikido's full range of appropriate response—from deescalation to evasion and escape, to come-alongs, to control and compliance, to pins, to handcuffing and arrest capabilities.
